As you might imagine from the table at right, the specific ways an individual or family chooses to engage varies.

Our team will guide you to the best option for you based on existing needs.

In addition to the CarePortal specific needs, we hope to create "Fostering & Adopting Ministry" for Holy Trinity families participating in foster care and adoption.

Tier 1 - Invest In
This is the "Physical" level of engagement Typical resource needs are clothes, personal items, beds or bill payment.
​
We need financial support, transportation, letters of encouragement, etc.
​
Opportunity exists in all areas: prevention, foster care, adoption and transition.
Tier 2 - Walk With
In this level of engagement you can enter into relationship with any of the following: the foster child(ren), the foster family, the biological family, the case workers and/or other service professionals.

Tier 3 - Become Home
Both short-term care and long-term housing is in great demand. Often children need safe placement for 24-72 hours pending either a formal hearing or a more permanent placement option.

Holy Trinity Fostering & Adopting Ministry Support Teams
Those in our parish offering foster care often need support not provided by CarePortal. Teams of individuals and families will be assigned to each parish hosting family, to provide short-term assistance such as meal preparation, respite care, emotional support, transportation, house cleaning or any other "family needs" to wrap them in community of love.
