This level of engagement involves close contact with the families and the foster and adopted children.

This level of care requires certification though an approved agency. The training includes 10 3-hour sessions, background checks and potential home inspections.

CarePortal

As explained in the About Us tab, this Agency serves clients in Wyandotte and Johnson Counties. There are over 100 churches who contribute to meeting needs of Supported Agencies. These agencies "vet" the client and the stated needs and then a notice is sent to all churches.

Each church has a primary contact who chooses which requests to support. Holy Trinity uses a Facebook Page and the htlenexa.cp@gmail.com account to then reach out for your support.

Care Communities

A Care Community is a team of 4-5 families that agree to support one family with foster children and/or adopted children.

At this level of engagement, typical supporting activities include:

Respite care - either in the home where the child(ren) live or in the home of the certified couple.
Becoming a Foster Family
Adopting foster children
